Absolutely Nice Vintage are collectors and pedlars of all things retro and vintage. They pick up countless treasures on their travels around the world, including homeware, furniture, as well as unexpected trinkets and surprises too.
Founders Mark and Damian were compelled to create Absolutely Nice Vintage while on a trip to Sées in France, so a luggage tag seemed like the perfect starting point for their branding to capture the inspiration behind the business. I’m a sucker for vintage design, so pouring over retro designs and colour schemes for research and inspiration was a real treat.
Below you can see a behind the scenes glimpse into the process and development of the logo and colour schemes.
The logo was also designed to work well as a rubber stamp, which would be used on brown luggage tags for price tags, business cards and packaging, to create a olde worlde, almost ‘Wes Anderson style’ feel to the brand.
“We’ve been playing with our new stamp today, and we’ve fallen in love with our logo all over again.”

I also designed a simple landing page for them to link through to their online store and social channels. You can see more about the project here.
