Fellpack is a café based in Keswick in the Lake District, created by a group of friends with a thirst for adventure and great food. Customers can refuel in the café or pack their food into their rucksacks to take on their own adventures up into the fells.
The brand needed to reflect the clean, sharp qualities of outdoor companies along with minimal, distinctive design of good-quality high street coffee houses and sandwich shops, while still maintaining the spirit of the Lake District. You can see below some of the logo concepts that were also created at the beginning of the project.
Where better to look for design inspiration for this project than the local landscape? It helped influence the brand’s icon and as well as its colour palette. These colours can be found around the Lake District throughout the year, and I wanted to bring this into the design work.
“Sarah has been a great catalyst in shaping our brand. Her positivity and enthusiasm has meant she has been a pleasure to work with.”
You can find out more of what the guys at Fellpack had to say about the project over on my website.
Fellpack celebrate local ingredients through their freshly-made food and stocking products from suppliers on their doorstep, such as beers from Hawkshead and Keswick breweries and coffee roasted in Coniston. All of their food is prepared daily with the hungry adventurer in mind, from protein brownies to their energy packed Fellpots.
